Welcome! The "Teens" and "Young Adults" are our Future. "Its Our Reality!" is a firm believer that we need to help and assist our children to become strong and successful leaders, so they will be able to lead our country when it's time. We are committed to finding ways to support our children and one way is through our scholarships.
December 2008 Awards: We are offering two awards. Please read complete rules and eligibility requirements.
High School Senior: $500
College Undergraduate: $500
Deadline and Submission:
Submission through our Website by December 31, 2008 at 11:59 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time).
Submission through US Postal Service must be postmarked no later that December 31, 2008.
Essay Topic: Students meeting our eligibility requirements must submit an essay on the following topic:
BAILING OUT AMERICA!
How can the American People, not the government, help in Bailing Out the American People?
Essay Guidelines:
- In responding to this question, please reflect on this statement:
America is in trouble and many are saying that the economy is in it's worst financial shape since the 1929 depression. Companies are folding; jobs are being lost; the stock market is crashing; the price for food, gas, utilities are rising at unbelievable rates; incomes don't match expenses and people are losing their homes everywhere. The government issues Bailouts to Wallstreet, banks and helping major companies while the American People are falling deeper and deeper in trouble. It's hard to live and survive day to day.
American People need help now.
- Essay lengths must be at least 100 words and must not exceed 200 words.
- Only one suggestion or example is required. It is your choice to give more than one.
- Essays must be the original work of the student. Plagiarism in any form results in disqualification.
- Entries referencing any books, magazine, website or other works in the body of the essay must indicate clearly the title and author of the work(s).
