The fourth installment in the Sharknado movie series was announced to come out July 2016. Sharknado 3 which came out Wednesday night, ended with a voiceover saying “Now’s your chance to be part of Sharknado history! You decide if April lives or April dies by tweeting your choice now or by going to Sharknado.syfy.com vote.” Syfy boasted that Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! received two billion Twitter impressions, double the number of Sharknado 2: The Second One.
Although a lot and I mean a lot of people hate the Sharknado’s films (mainly because the idiocy and bad acting), the franchise keeps making more and growing. Many of it’s viewers may just like watching stupid.
